Yahoo closes Geocities

I can not beleive Yahoo would throw away 6 million visitors a month, that is a great deal of traffic, the other bummer is for the people who have spent years building great free content for Yahoo.

Perhaps they should have put it up for sale, or maybe they were worried Google would buy it.

Yahoo has some really great features and tools but sorry guys this was a bone head move.
