My thoughts on paid links

Here is the problem is Google can sell ad space why can't everyone else?

To go after people who have bought links for their site is wrong, yes it allows people to game the system a bit but we can not penalize a person when the search engines are doing it themselves. There are many companies out there that do nothing but purchase links for their customers is it fair to hurt these companies?

Until there is an equal system I will continue to lean towards cautious ad buying as another piece of the Internet marketing
